An Amazing Contest & Farewell [for Now]

Well I just wanted to say that I've tried my best to build and interesting blog that would draw in followers and commenters etc but I have epicly failed. I have seen other TV blogs and review blogs for various things and I know they succeed, so I don't know what I've done wrong but with only 4 followers [all of them being actual friends of mine], I have obviously decided to put this blog on an indefinite hiatus. I need to revamp, restructure, and come back with something that I can really get into and get others into as well.

That being said, I do want to highly encourage you all to not only follow/subscribe to an amazing blog, but check out an amazing contest giveaway as well. As I've mentioned many times in the past [including consistent links in the side and bottom bars], my good friend Katie runs an amazing book review blog, S ophistikatied Reviews. She has a lot of fun things going on there at all times, following popular weekly memes, adding in her own Fan Art Friday meme, and promoting and administering contests and giveaways. She offers incredible insight and reviews on books in the YA genre and I really think you'll enjoy her blog.

Currently Sophistikatied is holding and 200 Follower Contest, celebrating acheiving the milestone of 200 followers. Survivor: Samoa - Past 3 Episodes - "5 Thoughts"

The past three weeks of Survivor, while exciting at the time, are actually pretty monotonous and similar. By the time Thursday night roles around and I should be blogging about Survivor, I'm usually out of the mood, tired, busy, or something else so I haven't been able to properly devote the fair amount of time to the show recaps as I should. Still not going to haha. This blog is basically going to just be some of my generalized thoughts about various things and people from the past three episodes.

1. Not too happy that Erik was voted out. While he did have a major attitude problem about 80% of the time, he was good looking, smart, and a good player. One of my favorites this season for sure. I didn't like how his team was so easily persuaded by the evil snake, Laura, to just vote him out spur of the moment instead of really thinking it through and planning things out. Stupid move on their part.

2. My family draws names and bets money on Survivor. One of the two people I had in the bet/draw was Kelly. They rarely showed Kelly and when they did I didn't care too much for her so I didn't really care that she went home and the way she made her exit and the circumstances surrounding it were hilarious and I loved it.

3. As for the bitch Laura... whew what a relief when she went packing this week. I was so sick of her and her ugly face and her bitchy voice and attitude. I was so stoked when she didn't win immunity [ Dr. MICKdreamy took care of that]. She wasn't expecting to go home and so that made it even better. The stupid look on stupid Dave's face made it all worth it too. I think they finally got the wakeup call they deserved.

Now on to more important things and people....

4. Russell is a freaking genius. I came into this thing thinking I was going to hate him based on the shitty twenty second previews before the season started. He is hilarious and smart and probably the best player that this show has seen. He has a long way to go and regardless of whether or not he wins, he will go down in history as one of the best players and most memorable ones at that. He found the first two immunity idols without a single clue which is just brilliant and beyond belief because usually it takes someone several clues before they finally find the idol. He did it, used it, did it again, used it again. The third time around, when they all got the clue [which I honestly got worried, thinking he should have deleted those messages off the phone when he was looking at it and discovered it rather than passing it around to everyone], I thought he might not find it. The previews clearly showed everyone following him around so I thought there might be some sort of struggle but really it was another walk in the park. Dumbass Dave completely overlooked it so all Russ had to do was double back and pick it up. He is amazing at this game.

5. Another important factor and brilliant player - John. Judging by the pictures on the site before the season officially started, I wasn't impressed with John. I also wasn't impressed with his whole "it doesn't take a rocket scientist to win this game, but if it did, I am!" or some shit. I wasn't impressed with his performance in the first challenge or whatever either, where his time got behind because of his lack of swimming skills. But that being said my opinion of him has changed greatly over the course of the show. He's gotten better looking in my opinion [hey I have a thing for scruffy guys!], and he is seriously smart. I am glad that he teamed up with the Foa Foa people and Shambo and got rid of the bitch Laura. He is smart and definitely made the right move. I can't wait to see what him and Russell can conjure up next!

The Ruins: Episode #8 - "Thai Me Up! Thai Me Down!" Recap/Review

This week, The Ruins, just overall sucked. I totally wasn't feeling a Cohutta-less episode for starters, plus the added anticipation of being spoiled and knowing that two people were going to be sent home for fighting - you'd think that would be exciting but considering I knew who it was, it just was sad.

Back in the day, Kenny used to not be such a douchebag. He used to be a pretty decent guy and I remember the time he even voted himself into the Freshmeat elimination round because everyone else already had and he figured "why vote for someone else and piss them off when we're already going in". I liked him when he was hanging out with Evan and they would do their "Suck yeah" comments and such, but then they threw Johnny D-Bag Bananas into the mix and just ruined him - seriously ruined him. Johnny Bananas is a disgusting man and I don't even understand how anyone can like him. He's worthless and just not a nice guy. A lot of people like to say he's just putting on this douche attitude but why on earth would you want to make yourself dispicable? If that's his goal, he's stupid for setting it and is accomplishing it quite well.

It was tough for me to watch Brad be a drunken lunatic because although Brad went through his wild stage back on his original season of the Real World, since then he's grown up a lot and really matured as a person. I can completely understand where Brad was coming from because Casey is a worthless tool who has no business going on a challenge when she is afraid of her own shadow. I bet if the challenge was to sleep with the lights off, she would wuss out. She seriously is a waste of space and not worth the producer's time even. She should just quit and go back to getting plastic surgery and annoying people off of the television.

KellyAnne was just a complete drunken mess. I didn't understand where that was coming from at all and they don't show you every single thing that happens so I guess that would help. But she was going off on Dunbar and while I think he is probably one of the world's most boring guys, did not deserve her drunken belittlement. Brad had every right to tell her to chill out and she is a pretty girl but not when she's a drunken wreck. Not cute at all. I feel bad for Wes if he has to put up with this in their real life. I don't see that lasting - he's too mature for that shit.

I think it was hilarious that even though Brad was egging him on and the one drunk, Darrell was the one who acted first during that fight. He threw the first punch and he is such a douche and a stupid one for doing it because he was the richest player and had a free ride to the finals where he would clearly have made out like a bandit. But no, he threw it all away and lost his own money, but sent Brad packing as well for initiating it all. If dumbass Darrell would have just sat the hell down and kept his mouth shut and ignored Brad, who was clearly inebriated beyond belief, they both would still be there. Stupid.

I also found it quite amusing that Bozo Bananas tried to get Kenny into the Ruins when he was clearly the one going to go in. At least Derrick helped state his opinion and Kenny didn't have to go in. While I don't like Kenny's attitude, I blame it on Banana Brain and hold him responsible for all fuckery amongst that team and the members. I really hope Dunbar sends that Bag O' Bananas home.

As for the girls, I don't like Kim or Susie so I don't really care.

Glee: 5 Thoughts

1. Mark Salling is a God//
Mark Salling who plays Puck, is a beautiful man. At first I thought, wow this guy is gorgeous, but I didn't like the character. Obviously, he was made out to be a bad boy and semi-villain at the start of the show. As it's progressed, we've really seen the character of Puck develop in many ways, and grow a lot as well. Of course Puck still has his douchetastic moments, but he really has showed a good hearted side and a desire to not be a Lima-Loser, and has expressed true feelings for Quinn and their unborn baby. Personally I feel like Puck's character is way too good for Quinn, who though at times I feel bad for her, is still a major bitch. Mark Salling was recently on the Wendy Williams show [who not on mispronounced his name, asked an awkward question about his ethnicity, but also repeatedly hit on him in an almost creepy manner], and after watching it I completely fell in love with him. He is a southern boy with good roots and lots of manners. He was "yes ma'am" ing everything and was really genuinely nice. Mark is a great singer and actor to be able to portray a semi-villian like Puck. I'm rooting for both of them.

2. Cory Moneith IS a Good Singer//
Online in various places I've hurt much dismay about Cory Monteith's vocal abilities. While I'll be the first to admit that he's no broadway voice like Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison, he is a good singer. On his solo songs from the show ["Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore", "I'll Stand By You", & "(You're) Having My Baby"] his raw voice sounds beautiful and hypnotising. I admit that on a few of the duets and group tracks, the autotune takes over in places, but we've had a lot of good moments from Cory where his voice created tender moments. He is a great actor and has a lovely voice and Glee fans need to recognize.

3. Kurt Hummel is Annoying//
I am all for the gays. I have many a gay friend, have definitely been an advocate for gay rights but the character Chris Colfer portrays, Kurt Hummel is annoying as all hell. They over stereotype him, and though it's not bad enough as is, now they're focusing on the Kurt-Crushing-On-Finn storyline. I thought it was cute when it was mentioned in the episode where Mercedes was crushing on Kurt, but to shed this much light on it in the way that it was over dramatized, was just too much. It's very plausible that this could and has and will and would happen in high school, but the way they make him seemingly coming on to macho-man Finn, is almost laughable. They need to tone it down and focus on the real story behind it, the feelings, emotions, etc like that have been rather than trying to make sexuality a joke.

4. Rachel Berry is Off Her Rocker//
Now I know they're developing characters here and it is a comedy of sorts but at the same time these Glee folks are making Rachel Berry completely unrealistic. They are making her this psychotic, egotistical, singing robot with no concept of real feelings of life goals. They've shown that she and Finn have feelings for each other but aside from that it seems like the writers' main goal is to make her look likea raging psychopath. The Puck relationship [which while I ship it, wasn't completely necessary], the over the top drama with being the "star" and getting the leads in the songs, and now the whole thing with the crush on Mr. Schuester. That was asbsurd and while funny, not completely realistic. Lea Michele is a goddess honestly, and while she pulls of the role extremely well, I just wish they would make Rachel a bit more likeable.

5. Terri Schuester is a Disgusting Troll//
Jessalyn Gilsig better be getting paid a shitton of money to portray the role of Will's wife. She is an outrageously crazy and manipulative bitch and they need to write that character off the show ASAP. She's a bitch to her husband from the get go, she's faking a pregnancy to keep him, she blackmail's a doctor to lie for her, her sister is just as loony toons as she is, she gives high school students drugs, she's planning to take Quinn's baby as her own, and she has absolutely no concept of what "work" is. She bitched and moaned about working at a freaking bed and bath store part-time, while Will is slaving away as a teacher, Glee coach, and part-time janitor in order to provide for her lazy, bitchy ass and their non-existent child. She is unfathomably disgusting.

Guest Blog: Glee - "Ballad" Recap by Andie

This episode of Glee started off making me laugh, a lot. Will mentions that Sectionals requires a ballad from each group. So, he pairs each of his students up "by the fate" of the hat.

Rachel ends up being paired with Will because Matt had to go to the hospital because of some spider in his ear. [Ew]. Soon after Rachel ends up being partnered with her instructor, Rachel insists they sing a ballad to start off. She suggests her favorite ballad, Endless Love, which Will, at first, thought was a bit odd, but went with it anyway. During the duet, Rachel begins to realize her feelings for Will. This part made me laugh like no other. The look on his face while Rachel was singing/chasing after him was mental picture worthy. Hahahaha.

After the ballad, period or whatever, Rachel ends up giving Will some kind of gift which had gold stars embroidered on it, given to him so that whenever he saw it, he'd think of Rachel. In the next scene, Will's with Emma where he explains about one psychotic crush a student had on him. Susie Pepper was the name and she was seriously crazy. Turns out Susie's school girl crush signs were mirroring Rachel's, including giving Will a gift which would remind Will of her. [Pepper gave him a pepper bandana.] He endured Susie's crazy for a while until he had enough and came foward and told Susie it would never happen. Which caused Crazy to eat one of the hottest peppers in the world, burning holes in her esophagus. - Afraid that Rachel might do something just as psychotic, he didn't directly tell her to back off. Insteaddd, he sang her a mash up which basically said that she's too young and she shouldn't stand too close and to just put it simply, back the heck off.

She totally didn't get it.

Meanwhile, Kurt and Finn work on their ballad thing. This part also made me crack up. Finn couldn't sing to a dude, so Kurt told Finn to picture his baby sitting out in the audience. It turns out that it works. He sang "I'll Stand By You" and later, it goes to a different setting where he's still singing the song in his room, to a video on his laptop of the baby's sonogram. - Finn's mom walks in and ultimately discovers his little secret. She takes it pretty well, which I loved. <3 He definitely let it all out; he really needed that. Keeping such a big secret in is hard enough and having his mother figure it out must have been suchhh a heart pounding moment.

But during the entire rehearsal thing between Finn and Kurt, we find out that Kurt has a little thanggg for Finn. I think Finn knows, or well, I'm sure he does. Kurt's not too subtle when it comes to stuff like this, yeah? Haha (; Later on, Finn invites Kurt over to his place to help him pick out an outfit for a dinner with Quinn and her parents.

Concurrentlyyy, Will comes home from work and finds that Rachel is there. Dun dun dunnn. She made the dinner, cleaned the apartment, and was working on cleaning the bathroom. Terry, evil bitatchy liar of a whore, made her do these things. Will flips and takes Rachel home. The car ride there, we see that Will stuck Rachel in the backseat. Ahahaha, more hilariousness. But of course, that doesn't stop her from her flirtage. She pops in a CD she made and proceeds to sing Crush to Shue. He cuts it off and says something I totally don't remember... moving on!

The next day, Mercedes shows up, late, to rehearse with Puck for their ballad duet thingy. She tells him that the entire club is going to get together to sing a song for Quinn and Finn, as a way to tell them that the entire group has got their backs. Puck kind of gets frustrated... yeah, no, he gets very frustrated and ends up telling Mercedes the truth about Quinn's pregnancy. - I thought she was going to flip, but she didn't. Instead, she tells Puck to keep his mouth shut. Which, I thought, was stupid on 5383049 different levels. What the heck does she know about anythingggg between Puck and Quinn? Whatever, she can go stuff it somewhere else. [: -Not that I don't like Mercedes, 'cause I do just not in this episode. Especially in that scene.

And thenn, it shoots to the dinner with Quinn and her parents plus Finn. Finn kinda starts sweating heavy during the dinner and excuses himself to the bathroom. He gets... amped up in there and comes back out with the courage to.. sing Quinn a ballad. The song was weird, it was definitely sweet, but so weird to sing in front of her parents. I understand what he was trying to do, I think, and it definitely worked... just thought it was funny. Haha, Quinn was like "wtf" too, which made me laugh. But yeahhh, that entire song choice was a bad idea.

Quinn's parents aren't dumb. They find out about Quinn being pregnant; and Quinn lets us know that her mother has already known about the pregnancy. She just never said anything about it. But either way, Quinn's dad threw her out of the house and she ends up staying with Finn and his mom. <3 I love his mom. <33

So, let's move forwarddd... Rachel and Susie have some kind of psycho girl showdown in the bathroom. Kind of. They just talk about their love for Will, aggresively. Susie mentions that Rachel and she are not too different. And it dawns on Rachel that maybe this entire "I love Mr. Shue" is a bad idea. She shows up to their next rehearsal with a pot of "I'm sorry" flowers where she apologizes for acting crazy and Will is off the hook. (: - He also flat out told Rachel that he was just going to be her teacher, nothing more. Rachel took it well, considering.

And at the end of the episode, we finally get to see what the club was planning for Quinn and Finn. The entire group got together to sing "Lean On Me." That entire segment had me smiling from ear to ear. How they all got together to do something so meaningful for their friends was so touching. <3

And that's what happened.

ANTM: Cycle 13 - "Finale" Review/Recap

Tonight is the finale of ANTM. I can't believe it's already the end; it seems like just yesterday when I started watching this season. It's down to Nicole and Laura and honestly, they are my two favorites and even though I like Nicole the most, I would be happy with either winning because I do believe they are the two best and would both deserve it equally. This will be short and to the point!

The girls find out they will be doing a Covergirl commercial and photoshoot, as well as a photoshoot for the cover of Seventeen magazine. They also get to have a sit down with Tyra and talk about their journey thus far and we see some really cute moments from both of them.

During the photoshoot and commerical, Nicole is critiqued for coming off too snotty and not as relatable as she could be, while Laura struggled with her dyslexia and memorization.

When it was time for the Julia Clancey fashion show, Laura and Nicole found out they'd be joined on the catwalk by last season's winner Teyona [who also joined them for help during their photoshoot etc], and eliminated contestants Erin, Brittany, Sundai, and Jennifer. This part actually kind of pissed me off because they were already eliminated and I don't think it was fair that they got to participate in the big final two walk off. It's suppsoed to be about the final two, and having them up there had to be somewhat of a distraction to viewers and the panel. It should have been Nicole and Laura's time to shine.

When it came down to it, the panel reviewed each girl's body of work and new commericals and photoshoot for Covergirl. They were pleased with each girl's performance and after deliberation it was announced that the winner of America's Next Top Model, Cycle 13 is.... NICOLE!

I was excited because even though Laura winning would have been fine in my book, Nicole was my favorite so I was glad to see her rise from being the talked about one, that the other girls dissed behind her back, and thought was awkward and weird, to being the winner. She truly is beautiful and deserved every part of this win. Congratulations to Nicole! Yay!

DWTS: Season 9 - "Week #9" Results

Tonight I just have a quick recap because since it's getting down to the wire on Biggest Loser [which because of time conflictions I haven't been to keep up with, therefore do not blog about], I was going back and forth between shows.

For the encore dance we got to see Mya and Dmitry perform their Salsa. I wasn't surprised that they got the encore because they are the best couple technically and also the most consistent in my opinion.

After that we got to see a recap along with some commentary and behind the scenes stuff from the dancers and pros.

We then got to see a performance of "The Italian" from the musical/movie 9. Alicia Keys performed her new song. Neither of those performances impressed me so I didn't pay too much attention nor did I care.

We were shown a video spoof of the final four couples doing "Under Pressure" by Queen with some over dramatic acting and horrible lipsynching. It was quite humorous though, if I do say so myself. Quite funny to see guys voices coming out of the gals, and Donny Osmond being all macho.

The first couple announced to be safe was, of course, Mya [or Myer as Len would say] and Dmitry. Joanna and Derek were left to find out their fate later on.

After that Leona Lewis performed her new song which I didn't watch but I'm sure was just as spectacular and boring as ever because we all know that while Leona is a brilliant vocalist, she is extremely mechanical and boring on stage. Just the facts.

The next couple to find out they are safe - Donny and Kym. Those crazy Osmond fans voted - or his whole family voted which is probably enough to make it right there. Kelly and Louis are left to find out their fate later.

The Bee Gees [Barry and Robin, RIP Maurice] performed "You Should Be Dancing" which was awesome and third placer Melissa Rycroft danced with the pros and looked like a pro. She should have been 2nd place last year not 3rd. Damn Shawn Johnson ruining it for Melissa and Gilles.

So finally it's time for elimination and it's gonna be either Kelly & Louis, or Joanna & Derek. It's more probable that Kelly would go, but alas my dreams came true and Joanna went home. Taking the time to go on the website and give my 5 votes to Kelly last night paid off! Thank God I didn't split them between she and Donny! Kelly is alive!!!

Next week is the finals/finale. Can't wait! GO KELLY!

It's really hard for me to focus on the dance when the music is absolutely terrible. Donny isn't a bad dancer but this just wasn't too great and the music made it even more terrible. Their wardrobe malfunction made it hard for them to do all their steps and you can tell that Donny was completely heartbroken and upset. He practically ratted himself out on what he did wrong. Let's go Osmond fans! VOTE!

Glee - "Wheels" Episode Recap

It's been awhile since I had a Glee post to make! Due to the World Series it wasn't on for a couple of weeks or whatever but it was back wit ha fresh episode this week and it was all I'd been waiting for!

As most people know, I am a huge Artie fan [Kevin McHale is love]. So I was just waiting and waiting for an episode to feature him. Nearly everyone else had been featured in some way up until this point and even though he got to sing a bit on "Somebody to Love" [which they cut out] and then a lead on the boys mashup, I was just anticipating when they finally would have an Artie-centered episode and this week was it!

This week on Glee, we find out that the school doesn't have the budget to afford a handicap accessible bus for regionals/sectionals [whatever the heck it is]. The principal informs Mr. Schuester that in order to fly to the different competitions, the Cheerios have someone who donates money or raise the money themselves. Mr. Schue decides then to approach the Glee kids with the idea of a bake sale in order to raise the funds to get the handicap-friendly bus. Initially the kids are resistent, thinking that Artie won't mind because he's used to having his father drive him seperately. We learn that the auditorium doesn't have handicap ramps either, and that Artie does feel a big dejected because of the other Gleeks' resistence to hold the bake sale. Mr. Schue gives them the ultimatum that either they raise the money and they all ride to the sectionals together or they don't go at all. He also assigns them to 3-hours per day in a wheel chair and informs them they will be performing a number in wheel chairs.

The bake sale seems to be a flop and meanwhile Sue is forced to hold open tryouts to fill Quinn Fabray's spot on the Cheerios, with Mr. Schue supervising the auditions. It appears to him that she is up to something, when she picks a mentally handicapped girl for the open spot. He spies on her too, siting that she is being cruel to her, in which Sue says she treats everyone the same and states that she shouldn't treat the girl any differently just because she has a handicap, which kind of puts Mr. Schue in his place.

Throughout the episode we see Quinn and Finn struggling as she recieves bills for the sonograms and doctors visits for the baby. Finn has been unable to obtain a job and Quinn is afraid her parents are going to find out about the pregnancy if they don't pay for the bills sooner than later. The baby's true father, Puck [who has really been shown in a diferent light lately], offers what little money he has leftover from his summer pool-cleaning business, which she rejects, and the two of them have a very heart warming and cute scene in the home-ec room. I love Puck.

During their time in wheel chairs, it is shown that Artie and Tina seemingly have some sort of feelings for each other which aren't known. It is also shown that using the the wheel chair as an act, Rachel has helped Finn get a job, threatening to sue for discrimination if he isn't hired. The wheel chair and the desire to be a good guy and not a Lima-Loser prompts Puck to make some "special" treats for the bake sale which have people gobbling them up.

We also see thoughtout the course of the episode that Rachel and Kurt are going to compete for the solo of the Wicked song, "Defying Gravity". Kurt's father had went to the principal and Mr. Schue and stated that he would sue for sexual discrimination if Kurt was not allowed to audition for the song. Mr. Schue announces that after the "Diva Off" each Glee member will cast a vote to determine who will be singing the song. After a harrassing phone call to Kurt's father, Kurt purposely throws the audition so that his father won't have anymore harrassment and embarassment. There are some touching moments between the two of them.

In a cute scene with Artie and Tina, they race in wheel chairs and then she gets out of hers, eager to give Artie a kiss, which he seems very pleased with [after having previously told her that his penis is in working condition]. Following the kiss, Tina admits to him that her stutter isn't real and is just a defense mechanism she created years ago to keep people at a distance because she was so shy. Artie is offended and displeased with this confession because he thought they had something in common and it turned out to just be a big lie.

There is another cute Puck/Quinn moment where he tries to give her money again and tells her he wants to buy a house and they can all be a family [she, him and the baby] but it turns out it was just the bake sale money. She seems impressed with his efforts but Finn comes and whisks her away to practice, leaving me feeling like Puck is way too good of a guy for this bad boy image and for Quinn.

Artie tells that troop that he is going to let his dad drive him to sectionals and use the money to give to the school for handicap ramps in the auditorium. Mr. Schue then discovers that the ramps have been paid for by Sue Sylvester and they charter the bus using the money. We find out in the end of the episode that Sue actually has a sister who is mentally handicapped and in a home. She visits her everyday to read to her and we see a truly caring and beautiful side of Sue which brought me, personally to tears.

Oh yeah, the whole Glee casts performs a rousing rendition of "Proud Mary" in the wheelchairs. Very well choreographed. Ze end.

ANTM: Cycle 13 - "Episode #10" Review/Recap

Despite the fact that Erin is no longer one of my favorites [and hasn't been basically since I put the list up in the sidebar box], I still have three picks left out of the four remaining models. I'm fairing far better with my picks for ANTM than The Ruins.

I really don't enjoy the dance-related challenges because though I'm not a model, or a professional in the industry, I don't agree that dancing has anything to do with modeling. It seems to me that these ANTM folks are sort of contradicting themselves throughout the seasons and episodes. Everytime they've had a model contestant with a dance background they criticize her for being too much of a dancer and incorporating it too much into their modeling, but when they have these stupid dance-related challenges, they persecute a girl who doesn't do so well at dancing. It just doesn't make any sense to me. And to use an example, Nicole is not a good dancer and is awkward when it comes to those dance challenges BUT she consistently does well in her photoshoots and ahs no problem flowing and moving from pose to pose. So those challenges are pointless in my opinion. Laura ended up winning the dance challenge, and while Erin is annoying, she did help the other girls a lot during their practicing for the challenge, so I did see where she was coming from when she was upset that Laura didn't pick her to also recieve the prize.

For the photoshoot this week, the girls found out that 2 of them would be going home instead of one, meaning the finale will be next week and they had to give it their all to make it to the top two. The photoshoot was representing Hawaiian goddess Pele, and the models posed atop volcanic rock with the waves crashing up behind them as a backdrop. The concept of the photoshoot was timing and to be able to strike a great pose representing the theme, as the waves crashed behind them. Feeling the pressure, Jennifer and Laura gave rocky performances while the in-jeopardy Erin, and always-consistent Nicole did a great job.

When it came time for the panel, Ann Shoket from Seventeen Magazine was a guest judge once again. The girls were critiqued and sometimes I have to wonder where Tyra's head is. The picture she chose for Nicole was obviously not her best one, but despite that fact, she was still called first, making it to the final 2. Jennifer, who I started out not liking and have grown to tolerate if not like a little the past couple of episodes, had a nice picture but did not pay attention to her face so much when posing. Laura pulled off a stunning photo and was compared to legendary model, Rachel Hunter. Erin redeemed herself with a good picture but not enough and she and Jennifer were eliminated sending Laura into the final two with Nicole. YAY ME.

Next week Nicole and Laura will work it on the runway and a Covergirl ad to determine who will be America's Next Top Model. Can't wait!

The Ruins: Episode #7 - "Silence of the Ruins" Review/Recap

While I still have not had a chance to watch this week's ANTM episode or Glee, I did manage to catch the second airing of The Ruins. I don't have a whole hell of a lot to say about the overall happenings on the show but I do have a few tidbits to share about a few people in particular.

First of all can I just say how deeply saddened and distraught I am that Cohutta is no longer there? I seriously have fallen head over heels for this southern boy. As I've previously mentioned, I absolutely love listening to Cohutta talk and now that he has been eliminated, getting through each upcoming episode without hearing his accent, is going to be hell. I exaggerate obviously but still... his quirky comments and deep southern accent really made the show a lot more pleasurable from a female standpoint!

Cohutt was doing so well in this challenge. He'd beaten two very tough competitors as well as doing a good job during the challenges despite the fact that the Challengers ultimately suck and lose practically everything. I really had psyched myself out by reading some spoilers and reading them incorrectly. I had thought that Syrus beat Cohutta so I was expecting him to go home last week, so when he didn't I was super stoked and then this week I didn't expect and it really was a bummer. Partially because I don't really care for Darrell or his attitude this season and then also, of course, for the fact that Cohutta is amazing [I sound fangirlish right? Oh well]. This Ruins was really difficult though and I am not too surprised that Cohutta couldn't pull out a win. After all, Darrell is a personal trainer so pull-ups, sit-ups, crunches and all that shit is right up his alley and little Cohutta, while a scrapper, just didn't have the edge or advantage last night. I almost cried.

Moving on...

I went through a stage where I absolutely couldn't stand Sarah but I really do like her. I liked her prior to the whole Katie thing, and she's probably the only girl I really like that is left. I absolutely cannot stand Susie, and I am sure as hell, glad that Johanna finally went home. Sarah deserved and wanted that win and after all the bitchiness Johanna exuded this season, it was just like her to wuss out and pull the cord. As she pointed out, she had mentally checked out of the game prior to the Ruins actually taking place, so it wasn't as if she had the willpower and determination to win anyway. She clearly fails.

Casey is a big waste of blonde hair and silicone. I was so glad at the end of the episode when Brad finally went off on her ass because he is 100% right. She doesn't give the challenges her all, she whines like she's 2-years-old or something, she does smoke and drink all the time and takes this all as if it's a big party when yeah, it's a game on a reality tv show but at the same time, it is a competition with a lot of money at stake. Brad is a pretty mature guy and is planning to be married soon and he could use this money - it's a big deal to him. If she wants to come to party and whore around, I hope at least next time they put her on a different team. This Champions vs. Challengers thing is really fucked up. It should be Real Players vs. Sucky Bitches or something. There is a clear division.

I am still completely disgusted by the Banana Boat alliance and really there's not much more I can say about that that I haven't already discussed in previous reviews. I was disappointed in Sarah for being all flirtatious with Kenny during the pool scene they showed. Kind of annoyed me because I thought she was a semi-lesbian and he's a douche, and also let me reitterate... he's a douche. The whole pool scene actually pretty much infuriated me for many different reasons. I am a small town, very modest girl with a lot of morals. Some would call me prude. Ha! The whole scene with the pool and the truth or dare was just a big slutfest and a reason to act trashy, and it's not like I didn't know that this stuff goes on during the challenges etc, but I'd just prefer to keep it off of my screen. I don't really wanna see nipple biting and mooning, streaking, and Susie saying that she would, quote, "fuck Cohutta". No. Just no. Which leads me to the little smacker on the lips after her went packing at the end of the night. No. Just no, once more. Glad he left before anymore could come of that shit.

So this week coming we see some fighting going down and from what I've heard it's Brad and Darrell [which, does anyone else find it extremely funny when Kenny called him DARE-ULL, instead of DUH-RELL]. This can't be good, because they'll most likely go home. The only reason that'd be good is if it's not in vain for Brad and in the process he beats the shit out of ole DARE-ULL. Okay. I'm done. :]

DWTS: Season 9 - "Week #8" Results Recap

Tonight on DWTS we find out who will be advancing to the semi-finals and which couple will be hitting the road. Also tonight we will have performances from Grammy winner Michael Buble, and international sensation Susan Boyle. We'll also be seeing the dance the viewers voted on in the Design a Dance.

It was no surprise to me that Joanna and Derek recieved the encore performance. Their futuristic Paso Doble was eye-catching but personally I think the main reason it was so well recieved was because of the fact that it was futuristic. The dancing was well executed etc, but it wasn't that much better than the others that it should have recieved the encore. That definitely should have been Mya and Dmitry.

Coincidentally, the first couple that was announced to be safe, was Joanna and Derek. I am really wondering where all their votes are coming from. I am guessing that it is probably moreso from the females out there voting for Derek, rather than Joanna having a large fanbase because I can almost garauntee that any of these other celebrities are more well known that she is.

We get a performance from Michael Buble, which had be excited because not only do I love his new song, I just really enjoy his music. We got to see Maksim, Jonathan, Cheryl, and Anna T. dancing while he performed and the whole thing came together wonderfully.

The next couple announced safe was Mya and Dmitry. I absolutely adore Dmitry Chaplin. I am glad that he was partnered with someone who could potentially win because last season he got stuck with fuddy-duddy Holly Madison and didn't make it very far. This time he has a real chance to win which excites me. I also loved during the DanceCenter with Kenny Maine segment, how he wanted to analyze Dmitry and the whole setup with Len having to point out that he wasn't the celebrity, Mya was. It was cute and I thought it was fun to have Dmitry be the focus of things [other than getting blatently scrutinized for having an open shirt like he was on So You Think You Can Dance back in 2006].

We finally get to see the Design a Dance routine they have been going on about for weeks. I was not really pleased with the selection of anything other than the song. I am not a fan of Sabrina Bryan, though she is a decent dancer. I do like Mark Ballas, but I know that all the rabid Cheetah Girls fans [which Mark and his current girlfriend, singer Joanna Pacitti have had to deal with online] voted for them to be the participants because they used to date during/after Sabrina's tenure on the show. I am not a Paso Doble fan either so that fact didn't help my already sour mood. If I had created the dance it would have been Joey Fatone, Kym Johnson, a Jive or Jitterbug to "Speedo" by The Cadillacs or "Candyman" by Christina Aguilera. I don't know what the choices for songs were etc, but that's what I'd pick. The whole Design a Dance thing just rubbed me the wrong way.

Michael Buble performed again, a wonderful rendition of "Feeling Good" with some dancers I'd never seen before.

The next couple announced to be safe -- Donny and Kym. I have really become a Donny fan over the last couple of weeks and Tweets are so funny. "Snap, Crackle, and Pop should be in a cereal not your body". You can't make this shit up! Lol. Also glad that Kym is doing well this season. Yay for having a good partner.

Susan Boyle's performance would have been boring to me had it not been for the odd pairing of professional dancers, dancing to her song. Tony and Chelsie who are probably at the opposite ends of the age range for the pro dancers, did a beautiful routine to Susan's "I Dreamed a Dream". It was still odd to me to see young Chelsie dancing with 36-year-old Chelsie. Aside from that factor, they did a beautiful job.

Finally we're down to the wire and as I expected the bottom two are Aaron & Karina and Kelly & Louis. It's revealed that Aaron and Karina are eliminated and although I'm saddened because he was in my top group of dancers from the beginning [hey I'm a Backstreet Boys fan and he's Nick's little brother!], I love Kelly and I'm glad that she and Louis got to stay. I think the fact that people don't really care for Aaron's personality and sometimes-smug attitude really hindered his voting.

We have a great top four, and despite the fact that I can't stand Joanna Krupa, at least this time we don't have any completely shiteous athletes making it based on popularity.

The Ruins: Episode #6 - "Ruining On Empty"

Last week's episode of The Ruins was a bittersweet one for me. I am a big fan of both Cohutta and Wes, so seeing the two of them facing off in The Ruins was a toughy for me. Overall, I was glad that Cohutta stayed though I would have been equally as crushed etc, if he had went home. I thought it was quite humorous that after the scheming to get a Veronica vs. KellyAnne girls Ruins, Ibis ended up being the one going in, and was beat. I used to like Ibis but I didn't like the people she was hanging around with this season, so it didn't bother me to see her go home.

This week started out with your regular, run-of-the-mill plotting and scheming. Once again the Champions wanted to ensure that it would be a Veronica vs. KellyAnne faceoff at The Ruins, and Veronica was contemplating throwing the challenge so that the Challengers would win and not put her in The Ruins. On the other side of things, Johnny Bananas decided that it was time to go on a mission to save his own ass and confronted Evan about doing the same, saying that Evan was playing the game to better his own chances and not thinking in terms of the alliance. I don't really care because that whole alliance is jacked anyway. I think it's funny that Johnny is calling someone else out about being shady. That's like the pot calling the kettle black right there folks.

At the challenge, the Challengers nominate their only three remaining guys, Brad, Cohutta, and Dunbar, along with Sarah, Casey, and KellyAnne [making Kim the only one not nominated this time around]. The Champions decide to nominate Johnny, Derrick, and Syrus [who was under the assumption that because he'd already been in a Ruins that he wouldn't be voted in should they win], and the only three girls, Johanna, Veronica, and Susie.

The challenge was a fruity one! Literally! The concept of the challenge was to get as much of your big fruit bowl across the obstacle course to the scale baskets on the other end. Whichever team gets the most weight in fruit across, wins. After some initial bitching and bickering about who would take which position in the course of the game, the Challengers seem to be doing pretty good, giving their weakest player, Casey, the easiest job of dumping the final fruit bowl into the scale basket. A monkey could do this job. Both teams had a bit of a struggle at the first leg of the contest because Veronica and Kim couldn't seem to get much, if any, of their fruit over the wall to the catchers.

When all was said and done, the Champions pulled out another win. Back at the house, Johnny Bananas went on another save-your-own-ass spree, talking the others into sending Syrus into The Ruins, stating that because of his age and getting banged up in the challenges, that he was "dead weight". Of course anyone, including Evan, could see that he was only doing this because he was in jeopardy of being sent in himself. When it came down to the actual deliberation, Syrus ended up being selected to go into The Ruins, picking Cohutta [who is the smallest, and richest Challenger] to go against. Veronica was ultimately sent in to face off against KellyAnne, because apparently the rest of the team thought she was their "best chance" to beat KellyAnne, who has proven herself to be a tough competitor. I call bullshit, siting all the talk about in case KellyAnne does win, at least it would only be Veronica leaving. Veronica caught wind of this when she overheard Evan having a conversation with Susie and Johanna about what they would do the following week, and who should volunteer themselves to The Ruins. Evan told them to wait and see if Veronica was still around [meaning that they'd just throw her in again]. Surprisingly, she didn't throw a big fit. Anyone know anything about me and my past experiences watching the challenges, knows that I am not a Veronica fan, but the way they have been treating her is pretty shady if I do say so myself.

During The Ruins, the folks facing off were suspended by their wrists and ankles from a giant log-type fixture and had to maneuver their way across it to the otherside, retrieving a key in the process and then finally unlocking themselves, in which they'd run to the other end and ring their gong. The guys were up first and Syrus was off to an extremely big lead, but couldn't figure out that he didn't have to unlock both wrists and could just do one and then pull the rope over the log. This gave Cohutta all the time in the world to finish and secure a win for the second week in a row. Lots of money for him. I was excited because I could listen to Cohutta talk forever so him being eliminated wouldn't be a good thing. Keeps me happy, keeps him happy, we're all good.

The girls had to do the same thing, obviously, but found that it was a much more daunting task. They seemed to take forever to complete this faceoff whereas the guys flew through it. Finally KellyAnne managed to pull out a win, not only crushing Veronica as her competition, but crushing Johanna who was hoping KellyAnne would leave [so she wouldn't have to face off against her]. I was really happy with this outcome as well. I don't like Johanna so anything that helps piss her off, makes me happier.

Back at the house they finish up the episode showing Johnny Bananas doing his usual routine of pranking and pissing people off, getting bitched at [or in this case tackled by a drunk and unhappy Derrick], and then wondering why everyone always "blames him". Uhm, because you are the one who always starts the shit and is a jerk. Just sayin'.

The previews for next week show Casey getting singled out, bitched out, and schemed against and with, for being the world's shittiest player ever. Can't wait!

ANTM: Cycle 13 - "Episode #9" Review

This week on Top Model, there are only 5 girls left! It seems like this season has been flying by. Last week Brittany went home, with Erin joining her in the bottom two. It's become clear to me over the past few weeks that my placing Erin in my favorites early on, was just a snap judgment because I've disliked her more and more week by week. This week proved to be no different.

Erin is very immature and whiney, and while she is the youngest [I think], that is no reason to act like that. It's clear that she is not only getting on the other girls' nerves but is also faltering in her performance during photoshoots etc. This week was Laura's birthday and she just seems like a really fun person, the complete opposite of Erin at this point. During the episode the other girls through a birthday bash at their Hawaii residence for Laura, including cupcakes made and bitched about by Erin.

During the teach/challenge the girls were joined by Nigel Barker and supermodel Marissa Miller. They were on the beach and for their teach, Marissa taught them how to be sexy in the sand with water etc. Then for the challenge portion the girls jumped off a cliff [literally], while trying to be graceful and interesting. Using the things that Marissa showed them during the teach portion, Nicole [yay] won the challenge, which was a chocolate pearl necklace and extra frames during the photoshoot. Sundai, Laura, and Jennifer also recieved extra frames after a schoolyard pick, leaving Erin with no extra frames and just another reason to be whiney.

The photoshoot this week was an underwater shoot, in the actual ocean, with the photographer Russell whatever his name is that was the host of that photography reality show on VH1 [real memorable right?]. The girls went down with a diver and the photographer and used an oxygen tank thing [the actual name of the device escapes me] and then took out the mouth piece and voila! Laura went first and after being a bit panicky at first, she ended up doing a wonderful job. She, along with Nicole, Sundai, and Jennifer were allowed to come back on the boat, go over their shots with Mr. Jay and then go back down for more shots. Erin didn't get this luxery due to the challenge results the previous day.

Sundai came up with every excuse in the book for why she couldn't stay under the water for long, but her picture actually turned out pretty decent. Nicole, did an amazing job once again and was full of life and really showed a different side to herself, surprising Mr. Jay. Jennifer did a decent job as well and the judges really loved her photo. Erin, who was sure that she was going to to do the best and prove she didn't need the extra frames, faltered, having a hard time staying away from the surface, and ending up crying afterwards.

Much to my surprise, during the panel, Jennifer got called out first, as the best photo of the week, over challenge winner Nicole [who I honetly thought had a better photo]. I was also shocked when Sundai was sent home instead of Erin, who was in the bottom two for the second week in a row, has a terrible attitude, and who's picture was not good at all. Maybe next time!

DWTS: Season 9 - "Week #7" Results

Well tonight is another double elimination results edition of Dancing With the Stars. One couple with the lowest score will be eliminated and then the other two low-scoring couples will compete in a dance off where the judges will have the sole decision of who stays and who goes.

I was excited tonight to see that Team Tango go to do a reprise of their group dance from last night, which was fierce. While I do like him, they're really trying to sell Donny Osmond to me, which I haven't decided is a good thing or not. Kelly stumbled a bit in the second go of the group dance but overall the group was still tight and in sync. Probably my favorite dance in DWTS history thus far.

Musical guests tonight include Colbie Callait, Rod Stewart, and Ballas Hough Band. I have been waiting to see BHB perform on the show for awhile and I could care less about the other two performers, but I was extremely disappointed with the BHB performance. They did their new song which I previewed on iTunes today at the reccommendation of Mark Ballas' girlfriend Joanna Pacitti [via Twitter]. "Move" is nothing at all like the soulful goodness from the first BHB album and judging by this single, I'm not going to be impressed. Major disappointment tonight.

The bottom three tonight consisted of predicted [by me anyway] Michael & Anna and Mark & Lacey. They were joined by, shocker, Aaron & Karina. Aaron isn't an extremely likeable person but it really baffles me that after having the second highest score last night, recieving Len's first 10 of the season, and clearly being on of the best dancers on the show, he could be in the bottom three. I could see Joanna & Derek, maybe even Mya & Dmitry, or Kelly & Louis, but Aaron is consistently really good and regardless of the fame/infamy attatched to his name, a name that most know.

Michael and Anna are eliminated first, having recieved the lowest score, leaving Aaron and Mark to compete in the dance off. Mark & Lacey danced a rousing Cha Cha Cha, where you could tell that having his partner back really effected him for the better. The judges liked it a lot and Mark and Lacey seemed pleased. Next, Aaron & Karina performed another amazing Jive, getting excellent comments from the judges once more, and making for a tough dance off decision [according to the judges]. The judges reveal that Mark and Lacey are going home. :[

We're down to 5 couples now and they're all really good so the rest of the competition will definitely be interesting and tough!

DWTS: Season 9 - Week #7 Recap

Michael & Anna // Foxtrot
Maybe ole Michael is making a comeback? I was iffy about the judges choice to keep him over Louie last week but tonight he did a really good Foxtrot tonight. I thought he looked graceful and his footwork looked really on point for a change. Watching him dance kinda makes me smile just because he's a big ole football player haha. Overall I think he did a great job and the judges seemed to enjoy his performance as well.

This wasn't Donny's strongest routine but I thought it was a lot better than it could have been. There were some mistakes that everyone could point out but the judges were right in the fact that his showmanship really overshadows the mistakes the majority of the time. Donny is just such a likable guy that it is hard not to enjoy his performances.

Mark looks awkward dancing with someone other than Lacey, but with the quality of this routine he would have been just as well off dancing with Tony. I don't feel like it flowed well at all and it seemed really messy in a lot of places. I think Lacey being sick and gone, is going to hurt him a lot.

I really loved the Foxtrot Mya and Dmitry performed. I thought it was classy and sophisticated and I loved the song also. I think Len is too oldfashioned. While the Foxtrot is a classic dance, this is 2009 and you can't expect people to be 100% the way they were back in the older days. I thought it looked amazing and Len needs to get the stick out of his ass ASAP!

I just wanted to post that I am am taking a short hiatus. My birthday is on Wednesday, which is the day I coincidentally have a very important job interview. My dad had to go to the hospital to have tests run today and one of my cats is suffering from a UTI and ate a piece of a dryer sheet so I have to take him to the vet again [took him last Monday] tomorrow, plus we have to go pick up a few things for my birthday/Halloween party this weekend. If I get time this week to give a generic overview of the shows, I will post that but until everything gets sorted out of the way, I have to take a little break. I don't have the time I originally did to devote to my reviews and I feel like it's suffering and pointless if I'm not giving 100%. Be back shortly!

Glee - "Mashup" Episode Recap

This week on Glee a lot of important things happened. Like every episode of the show, a lot is packed into one episode.

The original Glee members like Rachel, Kurt etc, are used to having slushies being thrown in their faces/dumped on them on a regular basis, due to their unpopular status. However, football playesr Finn and Puck, and "Cheerio" Quinn haven't had to experience this humiliation until this episode...

As punishment for joining the Glee club, the other popular students decide to throw the slushies their way for a change. This upsets Quinn and Finn and they decide to seek advice from guidance counselor Emma [which has no effect]. Puck on the other hand persues a relationship with fellow Jew, Rachel, and apologizes to her for his past treatment of her after having a slushie thrown on him. The two of them seem to have become an item through the course of the episode.

Will is employed by Emma and Ken to create a mashup of their favorite songs for their wedding, after Emma decided that she and Ken should in fact be in the same room during the ceremony. She picks a classic, "I Could Have Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady, while Ken picks "Thong Song" by Sisqo. During a rehearsal with Emma, the two of them get close once more which drives onlooker, Ken insane. In the episode he gives the football players who are members of the Glee club an ultimatum, by scheduling a manditory football practice at the same time as Glee pracitice.

Sticking with the theme of mashups, Will proposes an assignment to the Glee members, wanting them to find a song to mashup with his personal favorite "Bust A Move" by Young MC. After Rachel informs Puck that she doesn't think she can be with him if he isn't willing to perform a solo in Glee, he comes up with a performance of Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" which draws Rachel [and seemingly Quinn] in, while making Finn a bit jealous.

Meanwhile, evil Sue has seemingly fallen in love with a fellow news anchor and has Will help teach her to dance for a competition she was planning on entering with her new beau. We get to see a side of Sue that up until this point we had no idea was possible [thus proving that Jane Lynch is an amazing actress]. She is kind to Will and pretty much everyone, until she catches her man cheating with another employee at the new station and returns to her old Sue ways, banishing pregant Quinn from the Cheerios.

Faced with the ultimatum of choosing football or Glee, Will is sure that the guys have chosen football. When the clock strikes 3:30 on Thursday, they are happily surprised when the football players, save for Finn show up. Will decides to have a talk with Finn, who ultimately decides to come back to Glee, and Rachel breaks up with Puck due to the fact that she has feelings for Finn and Puck has feelings for Quinn.

Unfortunately for us Glee fans, we will have to wait until November to get our next fix. Because of the World Series being broadcasted on Fox and such, the next couple of weeks will be Gleeless. Disappointing since my birthday is next Wednesday and there will be no Glee.

ANTM: Cycle 13 - "Episode #8" Recap

For their teach/challenge, they met with TV personality Laura Spencer and comedian Ant, to work on their interview and spokesperson skills. The girls did a teach with Ant, interviewing him while he played various characters that ranged from flat out rude to diva extreme. After the teach they went on set for their challenge and were greeted by Ann Shoket from Seventeen magazine who told them they'd be interviewing actress Jessica Lowndes [from 90210] for their challenge.

As the girls are doing their interviews, the tele-prompter goes blank [of course on purpose] and Jennifer and Erin really impress with their improv skills. Laura, who revealed to us when reading the Tyra Mail that she was severely dyslexic, struggled with and without the prompts, and Nicole's odd questions [like asking 20-year-old Jessica if she'd ever had children in her real life, as related to her character on 90210] kept her from impressing. The other girls did so-so and Erin won the challenge and picked Jennifer and Rae to go with her to shoot a photoshoot for and editorial spread in Seventeen.

This week the girl's didn't do a photoshoot but instead filmed their first Cover Girl commercial, which is something I always dread due to the mishaps and messups which are usually pretty cringe-worthy. The girls had to write their own scripts this time, which with the exception of one line a piece, virtually sounded identical. Laura once again struggled due to her severe dyslexia [which causes you to have trouble memorizing things as well, I guess], but her personality made her's decent. Brittany and Sundai were boring and Rae was pretty dull as well. After struggling a slight bit at the very beginning, Nicole prevails and does a great job and Jennifer impressed once more. Erin, who had won the challenge this week, and was the first one done writing her script, was a wreck during the commercial shoot. She couldn't remember her lies and had to have her makeup re-applied almost 20 times [according to Tyra], due to her crying incessantly.

It came down to hot-mess Erin, and lackluster Rae for the bottom two and Rae was ultimately sent home. I really liked both of them but after this episode was hoping that Erin would go over Rae. Eh. Things happen.

I love all three of them, no matter what asshole stuff they may do. Although I've loved Brad for years, which makes this season especially difficult for me. Anyway, another night or something, Katie sees the plunger in her bed again, freaks out, throws a tantrum at Sarah, who I really like. And I thought it was really good of her to just keep her cool and walk away and just let Katie look like the idiot. What was it that she said "Don't laugh at me when I have a plunger in my bed, bitch. Ever." that was way intimidating. Except not really. Then Evan and Kenny, bless their hearts, think it's nice to basically torment Tonya, which I'll admit, as much as I love them, was really wrong, and definitely not justifiable at all.

So then, on to the actual challenge, I was actually kind of nailbitting the entire time. Cause I know how the editors of the show can make these things look. When Tonya started messing up, I was freaking out, then probably my favorite girl ever, ( when she's not on the team I'm going for ) Casey just destroyed it for the Challengers, and it was amazing.

In deliberation, I love that Darrell went for Danny, because he's definitely a huge competitor and assett to the Challengers, so it was definitely a good choice for him. Cohutta might be next to go and it wouldn't be so awful for the Champions cause he would do well in the "small-fast" challenges. And Katie choosing Sarah was obviously personal, but whatever.

So then, at the house, Tonya brings up Veronica making fun of her on a past challenge. They get in a fight, and Veronica, instead of acting like a mature person; a "rational adult" as Evan I think it was, said decides it would be a good idea to keep provoking Tonya, and at first it seemed like pretty harmless stuff, and Veronica was actually being a little better than expected even when Tonya slapped the ramen. Veronica didn't shut up. Tonya smacked her etc.

Johnny, Evan and Kenny scold Veronica for what she did. And even all of you Evan haters have to admit he did look precious when he was holding Tonya.

Anyway, of course Wes, my least favorite person ever, ever has to be like "I NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT TONYA" and start calling people out. Whatever, I'm over him, I kind of just mute the TV when he speaks.

Okay, the Ruins. After Katie won the first round, she was just ridiculous and trashy and gross, it's not really necessary to flip someone off and curse them out, just because they laughed at you freaking out about a tiolet plunger. I'm a teamChampion, so I was definitely happy that Katie was sent home. Darrell and Danny I was nervous about, I generally don't like Danny during challenges, cause I think he tends to be a little too mean, bossy and/or sensitive, depending on the day. I definitely wanted Darrell to win cause he's an assett to the Champions, and Danny's an assett to the Challengers. So basically Wednesday night's show was an excellent one for me.

Loosing two of the Champions weakest girls, and one of the Challengers strongest guys <3

And at the ends, I really hate when Kenny talks about getting rid of the girls, ( not that I really like any of them ), it's just kinda like.. do it in secret, we don't need to know about it, you sound ridiculous.

I'm just hoping the Champions won't run into one of those time challenges, because that would kill them considering they have almost like.. double the amount of players.

Tonight Donny and Kym were given the encore dance performance and repeated their beautiful Argentine Tango. Donny is really stepping up his game. I am glad to see Kym partnered again with someone who stands a chance. So many times she's had a partner who was less than... winning material.

I was surprised to find Aaron Carter in jeopardy again! And Michael Irvin and Louie Vito safe! Injustice. I agreed with Natalie being in the bottom and on the fence with Melissa and Mark. I am glad that Mark and Lacey seem to be doing well vote-wise.

The Michael Jackson tribute dance was awesome. I loved it! I really loved the Thriller part because I love that amazing dance to begin with. They all did such an amazing job on it. I wish it would have been a bit longer.

The bottom two ended up being Aaron & Karina and Natalie & Alec. Natalie was sent packing and I was left shocked again that Aaron was in the bottom. Teeny bopper fans just aren't what they used to be. Sigh. If that was Nick Carter, that shit would never have been happening. VOTE CARTER FANS!

Side note: Glad Kelly Osborne was okay after reading about her foot injury earlier today!

I was so disappointed that I missed Mark and Lacey because they scored really well and my dad said they did a really good job. I think that Louie would have done better if they'd done the Paso Doble, rather than the Argentine Tango. I really think his downfall will be Chelsie because I don't feel she's giving him enough in her choreography to do. It's easy to pinpoint the things he does wrong, like "walking" etc when her choreography for him is nothing but that. Ty Murray had that same problem last year, allbeit making it pretty far. While I still don't like Joanna, I think she is better matched up with Maks than Derek. I personally think if they make it through [which they will], Maks should get to stay instead of Derek. Ha! The group Hustle was really entertaining but I think they should have had to do it without the funny wigs and costumes because that made it really distracting to watch and took away from the actual dancing.

Sundai went in wearing holes jeans that made her look like she was going to the mall with her girls. Because so many of these girls are older, I forget just how young Sundai is, but I noticed quite a few times in this episode. Rae has got to tone down the mommy - she’s in a modeling competition, not a pageant; I really have no idea what to think of her. Erin was my favourite for a long time, but as we’ve gotten further into the season, I’m starting to like her less and less, and I honestly can’t explain it. Nicole, there is absolutely no denying that the girl is weird, off beat and awkward, but somehow, she makes it all work for her. The fact she won this challenge says a lot as well, I thought she did amazing and she’s starting to make that “transformation” into a model. Kara, oh Kara, her hair was a bit greasy, there’s no denying it, and I feel bad that she can’t figure out what she’s doing wrong -- but for the love of God, someone go through her closet with her, and I hope the productions people notice her hair getting brassy mighty fast, because it’s brutal.. I think “scruffy” is going a bit far, and I agree that word should never be used as an adjective to describe a person.

Jennifer has recently become one of my favourites, the fact she calls her “Blepharoptosis” (dropping eyelid) a “ptosis” not only makes me want to correct her, but it’s also somewhat endearing. She’s quirky, bubbly and adorable, and she doesn’t talk nearly as much crap as the rest of the girls. The fact that Brittany put a shoe on a table absolutely appalled me; please someone explain to me what she was thinking?! I honestly can’t wrap my mind around that, or figure out how and why she thought that would be okay. She looks like a bobble headed alien, if we really want to get frank. She needs to stop slicking her hair back, it tightens her facial skin, which is the last thing she needs. Last but definitely not least, Laura; the country girl who’s grandma makes her clothing. She’s cute as a button and so “girl-next-door”, that you can’t help but root for her (unless that crazy accent is too much for you). She’s loveable and real, and she too doesn’t talk as much junk as the rest of them. That being said; GIRL, you are on Americas Next Top Model, it’s sweet and all that your grandma makes your clothes, but you need to go invest in some professionally made clothes, and please, PLEASE, retire that stripped blue and white bra & high topped pants combo you have going on.

The photo shoot was absolutely awesome, I honestly would’ve turned into a five year old on a jungle gym- while looking fierce, HA- if I got the chance, however, I couldn’t help noticing that a few girls (Brittany, Kara and Sundai specifically) fell a bit short. (No pun intended!) My favourite shots from this week were definitely Erin’s, Jennifer’s and Nicole‘s, each of them managed to do their own thing and came out on top. The few left that are between my top 3 and bottom 3, really seemed to blur and get lost within the crowd. I couldn’t decide between the final two they picked to go home: Sundai or Kara, I feel both of them deserved to go home, but in the end, the decision to send Kara packing was probably the right one (Albeit heartbreaking to watch). Next weeks episode is guaranteed to stir up some drama and emotions in the Top Model house; the only thing that’s missing is some truly catty backstabbing between the girls.

ANTM: Cylce 13 - "Episode #7" Review

My review this week is more of a quick recap. I am planning on having a guest blogger this week to recap and review the show, and this week has been crazy for me so my recap is going to be hit or miss honestly.

This week on ANTM, the girls got to go on Go-Sees, and were partnered up to do so. Once again despite the talk of how she's weird and not fit to be a model [by the other girls of course], Nicole proved them wrong by winning the Go-See challenge, which was a prize of getting her name out there and a piece of each collection [from the designers she visited]. I really like Nicole. I have since the beginning but I have really started to like her more, moving her into my favorite slot, as the episodes have aired. She is different, but that's what makes her interesting and if everyone was the same, that would be incredibly boring. She brings a different personality and element to the competition.

This week also, their photoshoot was a combination of three shots to make one. I honestly didn't get to watch part of the photoshoot portion of the show, but once again... Nicole was the best photo of the week, getting a callout first and having her photo displayed as digital art in the house for the week. Kind of a "hell yeah" in the faces of the people who were talking about her lack of modeling ability. The bottom two were Sundai and Kara, and I was hoping that Kara [who was one of the ones talking about Nicole the most] would get sent home. My wish was granted and Sundai's name was called and she got to stay in the competition while Kara was sent packing. Two weeks in a row to prove that karma is a bitch.

Next week my review will be better, I swear. :]

DWTS: Season 9 - "Week #4" Results

Last night was the Dancing With the Stars Results show for week numero quatro [that's four for you non-Spanish speaking folks like myself]. Once again I'll reitterate that my results recaps aren't going to be the most exciting things ever because coincidentally the results shows themselves aren't that exciting. Tonight our special musical guest is, yay, Shakira [the yay was sarcasm if you didn't catch that]. My pick to go home from the performance review, is Michael Irvin, but we'll see what happens.

We find out from "Head Judge" Len, that the encore performance will be Melissa and Mark's Charleston, which was good but not as good as the other Charleston's in my opinion.

I will be quite honest - I turned the channel during both of Shakira's performances, and I also missed the other dance the pros did, demonstrating next week's dance styles. I am not a fan of Shakira or her music so that is my reason for turning the channel thus missing both of those performances, and I'm not sure why I turned it the other time, but I did. Next week the stars will be dancing either the Paso Doble or Argentine Tango and doing a group Hustle. This should be interesting. Not looking forward too much to the individual dances just because of the styles but I am anticipating the Hustle.

Also somewhere in there we saw a montage of clips of the stars children. Melissa Joan Hart recently talked about this on the Bonnie Hunt show so I knew it was coming. They barely showed her kids though. Mark Dacascos' kids are ADORABLE [like him]. I will never be able to watch Iron Chef America the same way now that I've seen this goofy and fun side of the Chairman.

I was really shocked to find Aaron and Karina in the bottom two. That surprised me because honestly, even though his performance wasn't as good, it just wasn't bad enough in my opinion to be bottom two. I thought all the little teeny boppers or former teeny boppers would have been voting for him. I actually kind of wonder about the amount of votes this show gets because it just doesn't seem like it is as popular as American Idol [another voting-based show]. I was even more surprised that Michael Irvin wasn't in the bottom two this time. The fanbase of these athletes on this show always surprises me so I should have known better than to pick him as my choice for elimination prediction.

Instead we find Chuck Liddell in the bottom two with Aaron. I had predicted Chuck to be in the bottom two but Aaron falling lower on the leaderboard again, and being in the bottom two was definitely scaring me. In the end Chuck was eliminated and he will be missed [by someone somewhere].

DWTS: Season 9 - "Week #4" Review

I was pretty excited for this week on DWTS because I knew they were planning on doing four new dances, which are always fun. The country 2-Step would prove to be interesting to see, yet not very good in the technical department; the Charleston would turn out to be entertaining and the best executed dance of the night; the Lombada either being too raunchy or not enough raunch; the Bolero being rather boring.

Unfortunately due to some personal issues I had last night, I was unable to get my review up right away and parts of it are severely lacking due to my lack of attention span.

Chuck & Anna // 2-Step
Well this routine was better than I had originally expected it to be, however it is still very clear that Chuck is not a dancer. I think this was probably the best dance out of the four of them, for him but it really didn't do a lot to showcase anything about him, except is exceptionally large arm muscles.

I was really surprised by Melissa and Mark's routine. I think the performance aspect of this particular dance style, and Melissa's acting background really helped her break out of her usually nervous shell and really go for it. For some reason I am just not a fan of Natalie [or Alec really] and this dance to me wasn't all that exciting. I really feel like it was rather boring and I guess because I am not a dance professional and don't have dance experience, I didn't really think this dance was that different from many other slower dances they do on the show. There is something about Natalie's personality that puts me off as well and Alec always has this expression on his face like he smelled something bad.

I was shocked at how Aaron has declined over the past couple of weeks. He didn't do too hot with the Lombada [no pun intended], and I was really surprised that he didn't do better. I think the judges are right and he is maybe trying to hard. I also think everything being said in the media these past couple of weeks about his ego and attitude have gotten to him.

Okay these two are definitely rubbing me the wrong way. I used to adore Derek but it seems lately over the past couple of seasons, he and Mark both have become really obnoxious to me. I definitely wasn't as excited about him being shirtless for this number, as I would have had it been say...Dmitry. Anyway, I can't stand Joanna. I think she is unattractive and I don't like her personality at all and I thought their dance was more slutty than seductive. Way too raunchy and sexual for my liking.

Oh Donny, you're just so happy. He seems to be always smiling. The Charleston once again proved to be the hit of the night. Michael, like Chuck, is not the best dancer. Michael is a football player, and retired or not, that's just what he is. Well there goes my hopes and dreams for this couple. I really thought their dance last week was a lot better than the judges gave them credit for. This week, however, it wasn't that great. I think the 2-Step was just a hard dance for the guys because it's pretty basic to begin with and it doesn't really give the guys a lot to do. Louie and Chelsie are so cute together though.

This was definitely the best Lombada of the night. Not too raunchy but just seductive enough. Mya is a very skilled [natural] dancer, and Dmitry's ability to compromise and let her help decide what goes in the choreography makes them a great time. Survivor: Samoa - "Episode #4" Recap

Sorry for the late review, but I've had a lot going on this past week. As you can see on the "Reality Star Watch" section, I have labeled my favorites of the season: Erik, Dr. Mick, and Evil Russell. I want to start off my first Survivor: Samoa review by stating that the only reason that Russell H. is one of my favorites this season is because he makes a pretty boring season, really interesting and entertaining. Survivor has been going on for 18 seasons now, so you gotta have something to liven it up a bit at this point. I like Dr. Mick because, he's good looking, seemingly mellow yet strong enough to lead, and I have him in a pool/bet. I also like Erik as one of my favorites this season because he seems strong/a good competitor, but is pretty low key. So far in this season, Galu has pretty much dominated all of the challenges, while Russel H. has dominated on a personal/strategic level. Let's see if things will remain the same this week.

So this week we start off with several things happening: Shambo bitching that her tribe doesn't respect her as much as the other team did during her visit to their camp, Jaison bitching about the living conditions and wishing he hadn't signed up for Survivor, and Yasmin doing a whole lot of nothing. For one, I understand where Shambo is coming from because I think we all know how it feels at some point to not feel appreciated for the work we do, but at the same time, this is Survivor, what do you expect? A lot of her team is younger and I see what she is saying about them being kind of like "90210" or whatever similar glamorous drama she referenced, but she needs to do more, besides working, to interact with her team and get to know them and maybe they wouldn't be so distant from her. As for Jaison, I was almost 95% sure he was going to quit, and he still may, who knows, but he really is a good competitor and strong person for that team, so he needs to quit his whining and bitching so that he doesn't get his ass sent packing. Yasmin is lazy, annoying, and her whole explanation for why she doesn't do anything so that she can't do something wrong have her team get mad at her, is ridiculous and just.... stupid.

They finally have a seperate reward challenge on this episode, and the tribe leaders of both Foa Foa and Galu are given messages to pick two people to go with them to compete. Dr. Mick-dreamy picks Evil Russell and Natalie, while the other Russell selected Shambo the warrior princess and Dave [who on another note should never wear his hair down, and in all honesty needs to get it cut/shaved]. They wait like idiots for Jeff to show up to host the challenge and then finally realize that he wasn't coming so Evil Russell makes a mad dash for the crate where they see chickens and Dave makes a run for the treasure chest. They find out that they are to play a game of basically Bocce Ball, in order to win the reward: 3 chickens. Throughout the whole reward challenge, Foa Foa is consistently closer to the peg, seemingly ready to pull of a win. Dr. Mick-steamy looks excited and then ole Dave tosses his ball and knocks one of the Galu balls closest to the peg and they pull out yet another victory, and the long-haired Russell, and Dave are left to carry the chicken coup back to their camp with Shambo in tow.

Somehow before the tribe members left for the reward challenge, Erik talked Shambo into giving him [and a nosy and annoying John] the clues to where the hidden immunity idol might be located. He was smart enough unlike anyone else, to put 2 and 2 together and figure out that if the clue was for an idol on the other tribe's beach/camp, there probably was another hidden at their beach/camp. So while good ole Shambo and the gang were off at the reward challenge, and the others were napping [because it's seemingly all they do], Erik decided to go look for the idol... and found it. I was excited because I like Erik.

The other Russell and the gang bring the chickens home to camp, and Shambo not only is appointed to be the keeper of the cluckers, but starts "talking" to them in order to "form a relationship". She manages the next day, while collecting the sole egg that was laid, to let one of the chickens escape. So like the goons that they are, she and Erik decided to chase the chicken around to try and catch it. They end up chasing it up a tree and Erik gets clotheslined, by a clothesline in the process.

I felt like I was back in kindergarten again while watching the immunity challenge this week. The tribes raced across some kind of min-obstacle course in which Monica epicly failed at, and then had to stack a tower of blocks at the end of each section. The Foa Foa tribe had the advantage on this one because a] they didnt have slow ass Monica to hold them back [though she was "happy with" her performance], and b] Jaison is only one thousand feet tall so they could easily stack higher, quicker. Finally Foa Foa won, breaking Galu's streak of wins, and didn't have to lose another member at Tribal Council.

Back at the Galu camp, many discussions came about - who should go? Some wanted Monica due to her lack of performance skills at the immunity challenge. Others said Yasmin because she is lazy and annoying and generally fails at life. Russell - the one with long hair - found out that some of them were planning on voting Yasmin out, and he was not too happy. He said he is the tribe leader and they better vote Monica out. Of course, being the nice guy he is, he didn't say this to them but rather to the cameras. Off to Tribal Council they went and Erik easily called out Yasmin for not pulling her weight. Monica's name was tossed around but she defended herself stating she thought she did a good job in the immunity challenge. Delusional much? In the end, with 8 votes [including the other Russell who wanted Monica gone, remember?] Yasmin was sent home.

Good. She was annoying. One more week for my people. Still time for Evil Russell to plot and scheme some more.

ANTM: Cylce 13 - "Episode #6" Review

This episode of ANTM was kind of boring to me. I think because I had to watch the first three or four episodes in a row to catch up and there was so much going on, that this was just less climatic than I thought it would be. I made a huge mistake by watching the show in the same room as my family, who were talking during the entire thing and distracting me. This week's review won't be proper so I apologize about that to begin with. It will be pretty short and next time I'll know to just watch it on my own! :]

We start off with Jennifer and Kara talking about Nicole, which I don't like because I really like Nicole. This cycle is proving to be no different than the others; there are so many catty girls talking behind each other's backs it's ridiculous. It wasn't bad enough that it was mostly Ashley and LuLu but now LuLu is gone and not only is Ashley still doing it, now Jennifer and Kara are being catty as well. I guess that's the life of a reality starlet for you.

Jabbawockiez are everywhere! They're on this episode of ANTM and they were just on DWTS. They're getting the shit promoted out of them. I guess I don't really get the whole concept of needing to do these dance challenges every season, because I'm not a model. They tell Ashley that she needs to focus on her modeling and not think about being a dancer etc, but then they give them a teach and challenge where they have to dance. I feel really bad for Nicole on this dancing thing because it was clear that she's really awkward when it comes to it. But, haha, at Ashley for getting Erin and Nicole [both of whom I love] on her team. That's what she gets for being such a snotty bitch all the time. I think the right group won for their challenge, but unfortuatenly Rae is the only girl on there I really like in that group. I really can't stand Ashley and I'm starting to dislike Kara and Jennifer as well.

I was really disappointed that it was a group photoshoot. I hate that. I think it really is a disadvantage to the girls but then again they need to experience it because there are times during their modeling career that they will be modeling with other models and need to stand out and shine. I definitely get the point but I feel like it gives each individual girl less personal direction and help and it makes it hard for me as a blogger to disect the photoshoots because they are doing 3 at a time.

I was really hoping that Brittany would do extremely well on her photoshoot just for the fact that the other girls were being so negative about her and stuff. I was hoping she'd do well and Kara, Jennifer, and Ashley would do not as well. I wanted Nicole to do really well too but she was one of the weaker girls this time around - luckily she did well enough to make it through and not land in the bottom two. The bottom two, however were Kara and Ashley so it was a win win for me. Ashley was my pick to go for many reasons, including her personality, and her performance so when she was eliminated I was extremely happy.

Next time I promise I'll do a better review.

This week’s challenge, aptly named “Swing On By,” posed a challenge for Shauvon, who I’ve lovingly nicknamed Big Boobs McGee. The object of the game was to swing on a rope [Tarzan style] from the first platform to the second platform a few feet away. Resident underdogs, the Challengers, are picked to go first and set the pace. While watching this I had high hopes and as Challenger after Challenger easily made it to the other side, I was ecstatic. And then, it was Big Boobs McGee’s turn. Poor Shauvon begins her pathetic swing and immediately smacks boobs first into the water below. It was an obviously painful boob-plant and even I was laughing pretty hard. My laughter ended almost immediately as Shauvon comes above water in obvious pain and proclaimed, “Danny, I think I just busted my f-----g implant!” Now, she didn’t actually bust her implant, I don’t think, but the fact that she thought she did made me laugh even harder than before. It should be written in the rules; inappropriately sized boob owners need not apply to Real World/Road Rules Challenges. Oh yeah, Big Boobs went home…doctor’s orders. Whatever.

The Champions won this challenge. What else is new?

And of course, there was a fight between Wes and every other member of the Champions. The twist? Evelyn was thrown into the mix and consequently on Wes’ side. I’ll break this down for you. The Champion team finally realized that they would not be able to get rid of Wes by throwing him in the Ruins. [Yeah, duh, the boy is like Goliath’s steroid-popping younger brother looking to bust out of Goliath’s shadow.] Their plan was to pit BFFs KellyAnne and Evelyn against each other in a Ruin. And not only were the Champions in on it, the Challengers were 100% committed to the cause also. Both teams plotted and in the deliberation extreme resistance met the shady plot. When Evelyn heard this, she went off, like the tough girl she is, even getting in Johnny Bananas’ face. Wes and Evelyn went on a tirade yelling, screaming, kicking things, and threatening throwing every mission from then on. All this drama went down all for Evelyn to get into the Ruins make KellyAnne fight her ass off for six rounds, and then jump off the platform allowing KellyAnne to win. It’s just my opinion, but if you are going to let me win, don’t make me fight for it. Jump off three times in a row and let me win. Evelyn went home, as did poor, lovely Nick, and Wes and KellyAnne can continue their pity party together.

The most important part of the episode, in my opinion, came in the very last few minutes. Johanna and Wes are sitting on Wes’ cot, talking, and the next thing you know Johanna says, “If you intend on throwing the last mission, I will sell the deed to your house, which is under my name.” OH YES SHE DID. Now, even though I think that is BEYOND low and shows what people will do for money, I couldn’t help but feel a little admiration for Mrs. I-slept-with-Kenny Johanna. Don’t ask me why, I am a twisted individual. I think I feel such admiration for Johanna because this means that the drama doesn’t stop here. Wes isn’t going to throw any more missions. I give you that prediction right now. He needs a place to live and that $30,000 is not written in stone just yet. As we’ve seen from the Ruins, the challenges aren’t always about brawn.

The Ruins: Episode #2 - "The Booby Trap"

So this week is going to be weird without Chet because I am a big Chet fan and at first I didn't think it would bother me that he got eliminated but after I rewatched the episodes and watched some of the Challenge Dailies on the MTV site and other clips, I realized how awesome he is and what an asset to the challenger's team he would have been had he been able to stay. That being said, I am glad that Wes is still there.

Johanna really rubs me the wrong way and I don't think that she is in any position to judge KellyAnne [who I don't really like either mind you], because Johanna is the one who hooked up with Kenny. She really has no reason or right to say anything about KellyAnne. And it also quite pisses me off that when Wes tried to make a fair arrangement with all of them and they agreed, they turned around and basically said they had not intention of drawing out of a hat.

The whole ordeal with staging a coup with both the challengers and champions working together to put up Evelyn [who willingly nominated herself not knowing they were going to do this], and KellyAnne [who is not only Wes' girlfriend but Evelyn's best friend], is ridiculous. How low can you get? The whole thing was stated in the first episode that they'd let the person going into the Ruins pick who they battled against and they completely threw that out of the water by telling Evelyn that she had to go against KellyAnne because everyone wanted that to happen. She should have been given the same courtesy as everyone else, and been allowed to pick her competitor. I would have understood and been okay with it if they were really doing it for the reason they said and trying to keep Casey and Shauvon, aka, the weaker players, but they even stated they were doing it to piss Wes off and isolate him.

I think it is ridiculous that Shauvon popped her implant or bruised muscles or whatever happened. I mean, it probably really hurt and I shouldn't laugh because it's not nice to laugh at other people's plight but seriously that is some funny shit. That's what you get for being a fake person I guess, and by fake I mean physically. I was kind of hoping since she had to leave that they would just not have a girls Ruins.

I have to say that this made me dislike Johnny even more if for no other reason than he shoved Ev during the deliberation on who would go into the Ruins. I love that Wes stood up for her. I don't understand how people dislike him. Yeah he can be mouthy but at the same time he usually has a reason to be.

I am really glad that Wes stayed because I think the way that he and Ev got duped, he's going to have an even bigger fire lit under his ass to throw the challenges and screw over his decietful team. Part of me wanted KellyAnne to win because they wanted her gone to isolate Wes, and therefore their plan would be ruined. At the same time I wanted Ev to win because she could have joined forces with Wes to help throw missions and screw them over. I am glad that Ev did the right thing from a friend point of view and let KellyAnne win.

I am really interested in seeing whawt happens in the next episode. I want to see if the champion team tries to appease Wes by doing the nominations for the Ruins fairly, or if they continue to single him out and I think it will be interesting to see if he throws the mission and what KellyAnne does now that her team threw her under the bus. This should all maker for a very exciting episode.

I just wanted to let you guys know that my reviews for some of the shows might come late, and I'm not sure if I'll actually be able to review The Biggest Loser properly. If I do it will probably be the weekend following the episode becasuse it is 2 hours long each episode and on during Dancing With the Stars. I will try to tape it and watch and review later but it's going on the back burner to some of my other favorite shows right now. My ANTM reviews may also come late because I have two other shows watch/review aftwards so it's hard to pump them out on time.

Glee - "Vitamin D" Episode Recap

Glee has easily become one of my favorite shows. I am not going to take the time to backpedal and recap the past five episodes because honestly there's not much of a point to it since I have all of 3 followers, and that is a lot of episodes to recap. So I will just go on with the recap/thoughts of this episode.

Well during the first few minutes of this episode of Glee, I've made some very important decisions about characters. Artie is hilarious ["We plan to smack them down like the hand of God"], Sue is a troll [tripping an old lady], and Terri is possibly the most sickening person in the entirety of television [continuing the pregnancy chirade and becoming the school nurse to spy on Will].

Terri was made even more dispicable in this episode by encouraging Finn to take pills in order to be alert. Decongestant isn't the way to go you nut. I wish she'd get arrested. I think that Will and Emma are the cutest, and it's apparent to everyone that they belong together. I think it's very daring of a primetime show to showcase a forbidden romance like this when one of the persons is married. It would be common on like Desperate Housewives or something, but a show centered around a high school, and popular with the teen audiences, I find it a bit risky but I like it.

The guys' performance was absolutely amazing. I have been waiting for that performance and an Artie solo for so long that when it finally came time for this episode I was extremely excited. Kevin McHale's voice is so strong and good, and he and Finn sounded great together leading that mashup of "It's My Life" [Bon Jovi] and "Confessions Pt. 2" [Usher]. It was so comical to watch Finn so hyped up from the stuff int he decongestant, and Artie's frantic wheeling in his chair only made it even funnier. Overall the guys were great though and it was definitely my favorite song from the season thus far.

I think it is really cool how Rachel is willing to be nice to Quinn even though it's clear the Quinn would have never been the same way with her had the roles been reversed. Rachel is completely right about how it feels to be embarrassed and on the outside and Quinn needs to start being friends with who she can while she can because once she can no longer hide her pregnancy the ridiculing will only get worse for her .

Don't have much to say about the girls' performance. It was good and I really enjoyed it but at the same time it just wasn't as exciting after watching the guys. I really loved all the girls' outfits and I liked the overall composition and selection of the songs for the mashup but at the same time I think they went over board with the frantic acting for their performance, even more so than the guys.

Terri is just too overbearing and annoying and I don't know how Will can stand her; I am glad that he made it clear that her working at the school was frustrating him. I really can't stand the way she is galavanting around the school causing problems. Giving the students over the counter medicine to stay alert, telling Ken to propose to Emma, badgering Emma, she needs to go. I think it was really amazing how Emma stood up for herself though and told Terri that Will deserves someone better than her because it's so true. Terri really just isn't a nice person and it really makes me wonder how and why Will has stayed with her thus far.

My heart aches for Will and Emma because you can tell they want to be together but obviously can't. I am really disappointed that Emma said she would marry Ken even though their marriage won't really be a marriage. I don't see it as being much more of an obstacle because she doesn't really want to entire into it to begin with. The end of the episode was so sad to me. It broke my heart. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Thoughts on the Previews // I can't believe Sue is going to be the co-coach of Glee. That makes me want to throw up. I like that Will isn't backing down and is telling her how it is in the previews. This should make for a very interesting episode.

DWTS: Season 9 - "Week #3 Results"

The review of the results nights of DWTS are most likely going to be short, sweet, and to the point because there aren't a bunch of dances to critique. Just a note.

Well I don't think it was necessary to give Chuck & Anna the encore dance. I know they said it was for creativity but I personally thing that either Louie & Chelsie or Mya & Dmitry should have got the encore based on creativity and technique. But hey, they're judges, I'm not. I definitely wasn't feeling the Queen Latifah song but I did quite fancy seeing Maks dancing, and Cheryl getting to dance appeased my dad for awhile. I really don't know why Tom & Cheryl were safe; where does his fanbase lie? He's older, not a popular celebrity, and not very good at the dancing gig, so I'm not sure if people just voted for him because they felt bad about his injury or what. I did however have a feeling that he would be leaving the contest because of his injuries from the previews when they talked about "one or two" couples going home. I think it's best for everyone, especially Tom, being injured, that he resigned. Props to him for that.

Aaron is in jeopardy!? Wtf is up with that? The Jabbawockiez performance was pretty neat but I wasn't too impressed but their "2 special guests". It was just Mark and Lacey.... big shock. Queen Latifah's second performance was also pretty boring to me. Usually they have a lot of big performers etc, but this week was kind of a dud to me. Glad Kelly is safe. Well one of my bottom two was right and she was eliminated. Both of my bottom two actually went home though.

Pleased with the results, yet disappointed in the overall show.

DWTS: Season 9 - "Week #3 Review"

Dancing With the Stars, weeks one and two, weren't too memborable that I need to go back and recap what happened [as done for ANTM]. That being said, I will point out that my favorites of the season are listed in the 2nd box down on the right hand column of the page.

This week, week numero tres of the contest, I'll be giving a recap of the judges scores and my personal opinion on the dance routines at hand. Tonight the contestants will be doing sambas and rhumbas.

Mark & Lacey // Rhumba
Mark is hot. That's my opinion. I think that there was not enough Mark action in this dance. Lacey is one of my favorite female dancers but I think the dance was more centered around her and not him, and he's the one that should be the focus. I don't think Mark's going to last a long time in this contest unfortunately, but I really like him.

Joanna & Derek // Samba
I'm just not impressed with Joanna. Derek is such a phenomenal dancer that he outshines her everytime. I feel like her body is awkward for dancing and I don't care for her personality. This dance was just not a great one for her. She's one of the better dancers but there's just nothing that stands out that makes me really say that she's a winner.

Mya & Dmitry // Rhumba
Mya is a really a great dancer. I knew she was going to do well with this. I liked the pre-dance package; it was cute Dmitry is such a cutie. I think he makes a really great partner. I think Mya would do well with any partner but I think they're matched really well. It was a beautiful dance and they definitely got the sensual/romantic part of the Rhumba down on this one.

Melissa & Mark // Samba
Melissa thinks too much while she's dancing. You can see it on her face and she just seems like she's counting or something and not getting into the dance. She doesn't look comfortable and it makes me uncomfortable as well. I don't think she has what it takes for this contest and you can definitely tell it in that dance.

Louie & Chelsie // Rhumba
I was really impressed with Louie on this one. Very masculine, and a good frame for her to dance with. Their chemistry is absolutely amazing and I thought it was extremely impressive, to me at least. I think Len is insane.

Debi & Maks // Samba
Debi is very awkward to watch dance. The way she holds her arms and her upper body it just feels like she's tense and not positioning herself the right way. The Samba really showed that. It seemed too short and boring for my liking and it was surprising from Maks cause he's always entertaining.

Donny & Kym // Rhumba
It's hard for me to find Donny Osmond sexual and sensual but he was very good at this dance. It was really pretty and beautifully orchestrated. I liked that it wasn't too dark and raunchy like Rhumbas can tend to get. I liked it though the Bruno/Donny bit was a bit scary.

Michael & Anna // Samba
Michael dances like what he is... a jock. There was just no energy or great technique in this routine. He was like if someone's dad was drunk dancing at a wedding or something. It wasn't really that good at all.

I think the dance was better than I expected. Edyta shouldn't tell anyone, including me that they can do what they want with her husband Alec, cause he's a babe. I think they did really really well and it surprised me.

Chuck is just not a dancer. He doesn't float like a butterfly but watching him dance stings like a bee. I like Chuck but it's just not a good thing for him to be dancing. He has a good fanbase so he might last awhile.

Aaron & Karina // Rhumba
Aaron is one of my favorite dancers but I think this was my least favorite from him and he still did well. He was a little punchy with his motions insead of fluid but the overall production was okay.

Poor Tom, but way to be a trooper and keep going when you're hurt. He's not the best obviously but he always puts a smile on my face. Decent job for what it was.

Kelly is my favorite this season. I think she really is a diamond in the ruff. She lets her mind wander sometimes but other than that she really is a great dancer. I really hope she goes a long way. And woooh Louie for getting some kisses.

In closing I think the judges were really stingy this week with the scores. Some of them were less than amazing but there were some pretty decent dances that didn't get the scores they deserved. Two examples of this were Kelly and Louie and Louie and Chelsie. They both deserved higher scores and so did Mya and Dmitry from Len. Overall it was a decent show.

ANTM: Cycle 13 - "Episodes 1-5 Summary"

So I literally missed the first four episodes of ANTM because I a] didn't know it started, b] was probably watching something else when it first premiered. But now that I know when it's on I am planning on tuning in. I have been catching up with what I missed online, and I did get to watch episode five when it was on tv this week. I decided to just share my thoughts on a few things I picked out while getting caught up and my analysis of the girls so far.

I know that I've missed a critical point in the girls establishing who they are and their personalities but I'm starting to wonder if I really did miss much because judging from what I've seen, there isn't one girl who really superbly stands out to me. This might be coming from partial bias and ruination for me because I absolutely adored Marjorie from Cycle 11. To me she was perfect and beautiful and should have won, so anyone who is not like her [which is pretty much everyone because she was so unique] just doens't sparkle to me.

I finally got to watch the first episode and that Amber chick is crazy. Seriouly... crazy. Trust me, I love Jesus and God and all of that jazz but she is a freak. She is going way overboard and just everything about her screams crazy.

I was pretty content with the final 14 but I wish the makeovers would have been a little more drastic. I was surprised they only went with shorter hair on Sundai, and Courtney and Bianca already had short hair. I think it would have been better if they would have left Sundai's longer and maybe chopped a couple more girls' off.

It didn't really surprise me that Lisa went home first as she was pretty bland and boring. I was disappointed however that Rachel and Courtney were sent home in the next episode. I thought they were both prettier than a lot of others.

I was really surprised to see how catty LuLu and Ashley are towards the other girls. Within the first couple of episodes all you see is them talking about others behind their backs. It was just unbelievably uncalled for and constant. I mean I know it's a naturual girly thing to vent and to even talk a little trash but they were just being completely classless, in my opinion.

So far I think the photoshoots have been pretty interesting. It never ceases to amaze me at what creative shoots they come up with for that show. Very awesome. I really can't wait to see what else is in store for the rest of the season!

Now onto my analysis of the girls this cycle:

Sundai - I really like her face, it's gorgeous but I think she is better suited for longer hair in my honest opinion. She has a good personality but looks better in person than she photographs.

Nicole - I really like Nicole. I was unsure at first but after catching up on my missed episodes, I really think that she's a diamond in the ruff. She's very different, and very much an introvert, but she's really gorgeous, she seems really smart and nice and I think once she loosens up, she'll do a lot better. One of my favorites.

Laura - I just love Laura. Her accent is so thick and gives her so much character. Looking at her you wouldn't think she is as fierce as she is but she really gives a good walk and her pictures look beautiful. She's spunky and fun which I think will help her a lot. Another of my favorites.

Erin - Erin is another one towards the top of my list. I really think she is a beautiful girl but I think she needs to work more on her posing. Her hair looks much better blonde [post makeover] and I think if she uses her stunning look to her advantage, she can go a long way.

LuLu - I didn't really like LuLu so I'm not disappointed that she didn't make it so far. I have lots of gay and lesbian friends, and I am not one to judge but I feel like she was just using the fact that she was gay to get her somewhere. She made a point of telling the judges that first thing and I think she was using it initially to get a spot. After that her pictures just weren't exciting, I personally don't think she's that pretty, and she was talking behind girls' backs which I think is distasteful.

Jennifer - I'm not really too sure about Jennifer yet. I think she is really pretty and from a modeling standpoint she's really good. There is just something about her that I don't like, personality wise. I can't pinpoint it but something about her rubs me the wrong way.

Brittany - Brittany looks tons better with the dark hair but she has a really big forehead and sometimes when she wears her hair back, that coupled with her jawline/cheeks, makes her look anorexic. In the first episode I thought Brittany acted like she was better than the others but that tone has died down and she really is a good model.

Courtney - I was really disappointed that Courtney didn't make it further because I really liked her look. I think she was really beautiful and had a fun personality but she just let the contest along with her broken foot, get the best of her. I have a preference for short haired models for some reason [I think it's cause they look edgier], so I was hoping she'd last longer.

Bianca - I think Bianca is actually really pretty but she just photographed too hard. She looked more masculine in her photos than Ms. Jay does in life. She was a very outspoken person and very confident and I think her approach to the competition hurt her in the long run.

Rae - Rae is my favorite thus far. She seems like a very down to Earth person and she's stunning! She is from the same hometown as my best friend Mel, so that's always another reason to root her on. I really love her look, and she even kinda reminds me of Laura Prepon. I hope she goes far in this competition.

Kara - Kara is odd looking to me. The shape of her face seems very masculine to me and her nose is rather large and awkward. She looks a lot better in photographs than in person which is a strong point for her. I think the judges actually like her, so she needs to work on her angles to ensure getting good pictures, and she could be there for awhile.

Ashley - I don't really find anything unique or interesting about Ashley. She's just kind of there. She's not the prettiest, not the most unique, not the most spunky. She's kind of bland and boring to me. I'm not a big fan of her personality either over the first episodes.

Rachel - There was something odd looking about Rachel that just worked. Her big doe eyes and her little tiny nose, along with the full lips. It was a very oddly pretty look. I was disappointed that she failed in her meeting with the head hauncho from Wilhelmina modeling, because it resulted in her elimination and I think she was one of the prettier girls there.

Lisa - I was surprised that Lisa was the one called back and not surprised when she was the first to go. There just wasn't anything remarkable about Lisa. She was boring and just not that memorable.

I can't wait for the rest of the cycle to continue and I wanna know what you think if you're a faithful ANTM watcher like I am!

The Ruins: Episode #1 - "Wes Side Story"

Well I tuned in just in time to catch the last five minutes of The Ruins in it's premiere episode, so I had to go online to watch the whole episode. During the beginning of the episode, we basically get a glimpse of all of the contestants, talking a bit about something [either themselves, past challenges, etc]. I was originally going to give a rundown of what I thought of each cast member, but since I am new to this blogger thing and having trouble with my "Read More" cuts, I'll have to add it in later!

So starting out, I think Evan is being ridiculous about Wes "not telling" him that he was coming to the challenge. Since when did everyone have to report to Evan and since when did Kenny and Johnny Bananas because these big cool people that everyone worships? I used to like Kenny but the more I see him the more disgusted I get by his attitude. The two of them are like some dumbass mobster wannabes. Kenny's comments about Wes were just uncalled for and Wes didn't even do anything to start it. Wes isn't the one in the wrong this time and I feel bad that he has to be on a team with these idiots. I don't understand where all the hatred towards him is coming from. Evan is the one who started it this time and now Wes is suddenly public enemy number one for that team. They hate him for no reason - they barely showed Wes saying two words to any of them at the beginning of the episode. They have some preconceived notions about him and they should come into this with a clean slate but obviously that's not happening.

Tonya is a big mess and not a hot mess. She's annoying as per usual and she is always causing some sort of drama. I know she said this time that she's had a lot of problems within the past year but she's always been like this and this really just escalated it. Ev was just joking around with her and the way she was pushing her around and yelling in her face, made me want to slap Tonya in the head. She is a mess and she needs to get it together if she's gonna do her team any good.

Back to Wes - I don't think it's fair that because they're all good friends [Kenny, Evan, Darrell, Johnny etc] that they should automatically vote Wes in for possible elimination. Even if he didn't agree with them, so what? They were planning on throwing him in from the beginning and to me that's not fair. He's on their team so he should be treated just the same. I'm glad he wants to throw the challenges.

Random note: I could listen to Cohutta talk forever. Haha.

Maybe I'm alone on the Wes thing but I completely understand what it's like to be given an unfair disadvantage and be singled out without getting a chance from the beginning. They automatically assumed him to be the bad guy since he wasn't in their little group, and he didn't do anything to them.

The challenge itself was kind of boring. Not much to be expected for the first one though. I wish Wes' attempt to throw the challenge would have worked just for the fact that Kenny and Evan and them all act so arrogant. I think Johanna is wrong; I don't think it has anything to do with revenge on Wes' part, but because they've been singling HIM out from the beginning.

Darrell really surprised me. I don't remember him ever acting like this big of a douche bag before. That's a disappointment to me because I've always liked him. Why is everyone getting up in Wes' face? Darrell is the one that started this crap, and not only called him out and wanted to fight him, but was extremely inappropriate towards Kelly Anne. Wes is probably getting the blame for it, as usual.

I also think that it is a bunch of bologna that when discussing who will go into the Ruins, Tonya was able to pick her competitor but they're making Wes' opinion irrelevant. Regardless of whether he attempted to throw the challenge or not, it didn't work. And regardless of whether he volunteers to go into the Ruins, or they voted him in, he is the one who has to compete so he should get to choose his competitior. It's only fair. I hate to see Nick or Chet go home [or Wes] but someone has to be the first.

Chet is such a nice guy for dealing with Tonya and treating her kindly when everyone else [including myself] is fed up with her and giving up on her. I don't like her so I think she's being completely irrational, but Chet is being a total sweetheart to her and that is admirable.

The guys battle in the Ruins surprised me. Chet did a really good job and I thought for a awhile he might pull out the win, but Wes got his stuff together and came out on top. It's kind of sad though because Chet is a good guy and he looked like a sad little puppy dog when he lost. I'll miss him on this show.

The girls battle didn't surprise me in all honesty because Tonya is a fierce competitor no matter how much of a lush she is. Unfortunately she won, which I would have rather had annoying Diem stay than sloppy-drunk Tonya, any day.

Evan says, "Wes, you came in like a punk, go out like a punk." I don't get it. How did he come in like a punk? Because he didn't call you and tell you he decided to go on the challenge? No. Tha'ts a lame excuse Evan. Something is missing. They're not showing us everything because I don't understand why that many people are ganging up on Wes when he seemingly did nothing to provoke it. Maybe they edited it out and he did start stuff, but they didn't show it so I have no reason to blame him.

PREVIEWS // Who the heck are the two girls fighting, where they showed one hit the other upside the head? What is up with Shauvon popping an implant? They show Brad laying and bleeding from the head [at least I think it's Brad]? And I don't care if it means Wes going home, I'd love to see him or anyone really, punch Johnny Bananas right in his ugly face.

Welcome to the new and revamped version of Technotronics! I've decided that I'm going to make this blog a TV blog, where I'll be discussing all of my favorite TV shows currently on air. At the bottom of the page you will find a list of some of the shows I'll be reviwing and discussing and there may be more added along the way. I will also be adding a section where you can keep up to date with how my favorites in the various reality shows I watch, are doing.
